There are dedicated websites as well as excellent Facebook groups that can help you ID your rock.

About Me

I'm a physics teacher, meteorite collector, and macro photographer from Zagreb, Croatia. Due to my very limited budget, most of my meteorite collection is in the form of micro fragments and small slices, but it covers a wide range of different meteoritic materials. I started collecting in 2019, and my collection currently contains samples of over 200 different meteorites, making it the most varied meteorite collection in Croatia. The collection is also often used for STEM outreach, especially to school kids. I would like to give special thanks to all the generous meteorite dealers and my "meteoritic" friends who have helped grow my collection over the past few years. Needless to say, without such help, my collection would be nowhere near this extensive.
